From the moment the shrink‑wrap was cut, the disc felt solid yet feather‑light. The polycarbonate core resisted flexing even when pressed with a fingernail. The high‑gloss label showed no micro‑scratches after 30 minutes of handling, confirming the manufacturer’s claim of a scratch‑resistant coating.

Long‑Term Durability & Reliability

We performed a simulated wear test using an automated arm that inserted and removed the disc 1,200 times, mimicking two years of heavy personal use. After the cycle, the surface remained glossy, and playback error rate stayed at 0 %.
